Reading the figures

FKM certified by FKM, the German audit body, via the AUMA database. ORG organiser's own published figure. OWN counted from your own scrape of the live exhibitor directory. EST estimate where nothing is published. ADDED a show you entered yourself. SUGGESTED a Tier 1 show researched on 7 Sep 2026 that is not on your list yet; adopt it with the checkbox in its tracking dialog.

Co-exhibitors: no organiser publishes them separately. FKM totals include co-exhibitors. Where a directory feed carries a main-stand or parent flag, the count comes from that flag.

Indian exhibitors: counts come from the FKM country tables on AUMA, organiser releases, or your own directory scrapes; the year shown is the year of that table. The stand-structure pill says who buys the build: Own stands (firms buy individually), Mixed (an export-council area plus independents), Pavilion (almost everyone in shell scheme under APEDA, EEPC, TEPC, EPCH or a ministry).

How the score works

  • Foreign exhibitors: count scaled by square root against 3,500. Foreign exhibitors need a builder in the host country; domestic ones already have one.
  • Custom-build share: net m² per exhibitor, island and head stands, and how much of the floor is pavilion or shell scheme.
  • Timing: 120 to 240 days out scores 10 (the window for a custom build plus the sales cycle); 241 to 330 scores 8 and beyond 330 scores 6 because the exhibitor list is not open yet; under 120 it drops to 8, 5, 3 and 1 below 70 days.
  • Home market: German venues 10, everywhere else 5.
  • Data access, Pipeline head start and Reachability (English decision-makers who buy the stand themselves) are judged per show; the evidence sits in each show's panel.
  • Indian exhibitors is a separate factor with weight 0 by default, so it changes nothing until you raise it. It scales the Indian count against 300 and discounts by stand structure: own stands count fully, mixed 80%, pavilion-only 45%, because on a pavilion only the export council buys a build.

Sources and storage

AUMA trade fair database (FKM figures), organiser final reports and press releases for 2025/2026 editions, and the directory scrapes in ~/heimtextil_2027, ~/ise_2027, ~/ibtm_world_2026, ~/fie2026_refresh and ~/messefrankfurt_shows.

Shows you add and the three tracking columns (data available, data extracted, email campaign) are saved to this page's shared store and appear on every device that opens the page. Click a tracking cell, or Update in the side panel, to change it. If the store is unavailable, changes are kept in this browser only. Weights you set stay in this browser.
